I know, I know. I've got A LOT of explaining to do here. Probably most of you don't even care for what I have to say, but I'll say it anyway just to make things clear as to why I've been MIA for such a long time. ('UwU)

I don't wanna make this long, so I'm gonna be direct with y'all. First things first, it was mostly cuz of family matters. My nan is sick. My family and I have to monitor her health from time to time, as this is part of our daily routine to take care of her following her worsening condition due to a past horrible incident she had to suffer. I'm a full-time student and only have weekends off. My other siblings were all away studying, and I was the only one who had the privilege of coming home from college because I was closest to home. Both my parents are busy working, and only I can take care of her every weekend. This has thrown my daily schedule into disarray and made things disorganized for me. Don't take this in a wrong way. I don't mean to blame her for my flaws in time management; I love her so much! I'm really worried about my nan because she's always been there for me since I was a baby. But seeing her in that very weak state before my own eyes is very heartbreaking. Moreover, since my internship started, I've hardly even had time for myself during the week. And even with the fact that everything about the new build of Odyssey was already done (characters, CG, etc.), it really stressed me out and saddened me that I had to delay the distribution date from month to month. After awhile, all these negative feelings eventually lead to months of procrastination (and I somehow forgot about the game). Not to mention, my old phone had failed me TWICE that I ended up switching phones three times with my parents' phones, and let me tell you, it was hell. My artwork (game assets), social media accounts, files, and other friggin' important stuff are all gone, devoured by the void of fate. Anyhow, it took me a bit of time to trace my account back, which is why there wasn't any news coming from me on itch.io or Discord for so long. ('^w^) Even though I'd promised that I'd try to update more often in the upcoming week before this...

Aaaaaand now you know why I'm late this time. Also, I am aware that the prolonged delay was primarily my fault, so please forgive me for that, my dear squadmates. (/QwQ)/ As a token of my apology to y'all, I will tell y'all the release date of ODYSSEY's new build! (^3^)

Better brace yourself because the new build will be released THIS CHRISTMAAAAAASSSSS~~~! \(>w<)/
